I find inspiration in everything...
from Fabulous fall colors on the trees~
to "Project Runway"...
I'm drawing some images for a
really crazy line of designs that revolves around a character,
I named Millie...
she's wacky
she's wild
she's wise!
& she's got lots of things to say!

This is an absolutely fabulous Christian Dior from 2006...makes me
think of Alice In Wonderland a bit!

Today I was thinking of some sunflowers that we saw over the weekend...

Playing around with COREL DRAW again...
wish I was more skilled with it, but, alas I am but a NEWBIE with computer art...

on people in so many many collage pieces?
I guess I'm not quite in the loop with that one?
Maybe I should try to draw one of my ladies with one on their head?

AUGUST 5th...

WOW! could not resist the color in front of me!

Just got back from vacation...ahhh, very nice to get away, but I love getting back to my Studio.
Before I left I sent off about a dozen designs for a New Company that has licensed me to do cards for them! Can't wait to see them...had a great time working with them & a writer...very talented lady named...Nanette Stine. Thanks to her, this was Not a difficult venture.
I'm now working on some designs for another company...they will use my art to put thru a machine for crafters to cut...kinda like puzzles of my illustrations, for the paper cratfing industry.
Having a fun time! ...so lucky to get to be in my little sweet studio!

I have been oh so busy with designing my NEW CARDS that will be coming out... in I think the FALL...wanna 'SNEEK PEEK'? This company chose 11 of my designs to start with...I've been working on the card fronts, the insides & the envelopes!

JUNE 16th...

Well it's almost officially 'summer'? hmmm...it poured yesterday, don't think that qualifies as
a 'summer' day actually! So with the weather being what it is...I'm working in the studio about 8-9 hours a day & "loving" it! Just finished a new Bride series for our Shirleys2Girls Stamp company. I have also been working with some companies to license my illustrations...WHEE!
Today I'm gonna work on some illustrations that have to do with travel...ahhh doesn't that sound like a good idea?
