My favorite colors are black & white...and chartreuse...

BUT...I gotta have me a little hit of HOT PINK once in a while!
WOW...do I love these shoes...although my feet are already screaming seeing those heels...I guess my days of those Hot High heels are over.

But I can dream can't I?

I've just sent off some designs for pillows...

this particular company wanted something for a
'teen-age' girl...I think I can handle that. I created a few designs
that were inspired by "Mazie"...my hip teenager.


Today I've been working on tabletop products...
it's a beautiful day here and life is great!

Pinking reminds me of my Mom...she was a fabulous seamstress...
I however never could get the hang of sewing, I tried...but it just
wasn't for moi! When sissy & I were getting things organized
for our Garage Sale last weekend...I came across one of my
Barbies...(one with the bubble hair-do) I also found some clothes
that Mom had made me for Babs! She sewed me everything from
wedding dresses to a grey wool coat & muffler that had real 'mink'
trim...can you imagine? She was something on her good old
Singer...that machine sits on a shelf in the studio...looking down
on sissy & I creating. How appropriate...Mom was the person
that always said I could do anything...especially draw. How
lucky was I? EXTREMELY!

A day just for Moi...
my sister & two fabulous friends decided to spend the day with me...
for my birthday (June 26th)...
it was a perfectly sunny...warm...
gorgeous day to take a drive in the country...
land in a sweet little town...
grab lunch on a deck over looking a babbling brook...
share some great conversation...have a few laughs...
all in all...a PERFECT DAY!

In the middle of a job...the damn printer went down...
something is wacko with the computer...why is it just
when I get started on something new...a machine
gives me fits? Just lucky I guess! Working on or trying to work
on some comps for some dinnerware. Also just sent some of
my work to Atlanta with some reps...crossing my fingers!
it's also raining again...where the HECK is summer?

I'm tired...oh so tired...what with having this darn cold or whatever... coming down from the show in Vegas...getting ready for a garage sale... I am tired...I want a vacation. NOW! I hope to do NOTHING on sunday...hope you all have a fabulous weekend... Here's to thinking PINK!this is how I feel...LOL
