This is a really FUN shot I  got a couple of years ago around the holidays when we had SNOW...what a hoot!  We don't get that fluffy white stuff often, so when  we do, the whole town kind of shuts down.  (Love that part...we get to...SLOW down for a bit)  LET IT SNOW! 
Could use a week of doing nothing...

How can you go wrong with this fabulous POP of color for the season?  Right now my kitchen and dining room are both RED...so I am always ready for the holidays. 
(My house is painted red too...guess I like the color!)
Do yourself a favor...buy something RED to wear for 2012...be BOLD!  STAND OUT!

More angels...This one is my "CUPCAKE" angel...I think a calander is in the future...I just can't stop drawing them, I wonder what that means? Maybe I have a couple of 'angels' watching over me these days...(Mom & Dad). This is a hard time of year without them.Christmas is just not the same. No matter how old you get...having parents & family around at this time of year is best!

I have a series of 'party' dress wall hangings..that I'm going to putting up for sale on etsy...I have always loved fashion...but drawing dresses...ahhh, now that is FUN! Next week I'll be posting more of these, but I thought I'd give you a peek now at a couple... wouldn't these be great in a bathroom or dressing room?

Forget the traditional RED & GREEN...think pink, orange, purple...go wild...go over the egde...think exciting! Isn't this TREE spectacular? I just LOVE color...I mean if you're gonna get crazy with anything, why not your Christmas Tree? Next year, put aside your usual ornaments...pick 2 opposing colors...get some fun ribbons...lights and make it a new simple, but BOLD TREE!

It's that time again...to POST something PINK. You know I've never been that great a lover of PINK until a couple of years ago, but for me it has to be HOT PINK...nothing to pale for me. I'm rather a Bold, sassy & wacky woman...so I need the BRIGHTS for everything I create. Funny thing is I don't wear any colors to speak of...Black & White for me only. I like to remain a blank canvas for fabulous accessories! Here's to BRIGHT & BOLD BLING!

BE TRUE...

I've got angels on the brain...and I have to say I'm having fun drawing them...I have decided that for the next few weeks I'm just going to draw whatever calls to me...I feel like I haven't had time to explore or experiment for a few years. What better time than NOW!
I've had a lot of 'frustration' going on lately. It seems that someone wants me to change the way I draw...and the medium in which I feel most comfortable with...it isn't that I can't do 'art' another way...but this is how I'm choosing to create these days. I do it for me...I have been drawing since I was oh so young...(3) and ya know this is where I get my 'joy' from. If someone likes what I create...great, if not that's ok too...it's a BIG world and there's lots of artists out there. I think since the ideas come out of this artist's head...it ought to be what she sees & how she sees it.

My thought for today is...BE YOURSELF! LIVE WITH INTENTION!
