It is a cold & blustery day here in Portland...almost all the leaves are off the BIG maple tree...
never have I seen so many leaves! But the COLORS of this FALL have been gorgeous! The
reds are so brilliant that they almost hurt your eyes, and the yellows are just plain shocking. COLOR...I LOVE it!
Colors for 2012... Below is PANTONE'S prediction for the coming year...the word for the year is "PRESERVATION"...it is a reflection of our current economic & social climate. The overall desire to connect with our past.
Here is my entry for PINK SATURDAY & for the word PRESERVATION...
get an old pair of tennies & dye them HOT PINK & then go dance in a pile of leaves!
I love the pink sneakers!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday & Happy Thanksgiving..xo Tami
Our winds today have swept all those down leaves away! Hurrah! So far the neighbors leaves have not yet come to join me.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy the Pantone predictions.

Happy Pink Saturday Deidre Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh what fun. Love the pink tennies, and if I had some leaves to dance in I would be joining you. Here in the desert, I have to dance around my cactus. Can I come out there and dance in your leaves? I am sure they are exquisite. I miss seeing the Fall leaves here in the desert, and can never find the time to drive up north to see the changes awaiting me there.
Thanks for letting me dance along with you. Stay warm sweet friend and have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
What a cool idea to dye old drab tennis shoes pink. We sure have plenty of leaves to participate.
